Welcome to the Bayou Bikers of Houma web site. The club was formed in May, 1980 and has remained an active club ever since. Our aim is to promote motorcycle safety and enjoyment. Club membership is open to riders of all motorcycle brands.
Club business meetings are held on the first Wednesday of the month at 7:00 PM at Bubba's II Poboys and Seafood, 212 E. Bayou Road (Hwy 308, just south of Canal Blvd) in Thibodaux. Guests are welcome to attend.
The club designated meeting place for most club rides is Terrebonne Truck Stop & Casino 4067 W Park Ave in Gray, LA., located just south of the intersection of LA 24 and US 90, next to State Police Troop C headquarters. Club members from outside the Houma area may meet the club riders at other locations.
Club rides are normally scheduled for the third Wednesday and the third Sunday of each month, departing from the club designated meeting place. Ride destinations are scheduled at the monthly club meeting. The Wednesday rides depart at 6:30 PM for a ride and dinner at a scheduled place or agreed upon by assembled members. The Sunday rides depart at 9:30 AM for a club ride and lunch at a scheduled place or agreed upon by assembled members. All club functions and ride info as well as changes to the ride schedules can be found under the Calendar tab. Guests are welcome to join us for the rides.
Persons interested in joining the Bayou Bikers are required to fill out a membership application and participate in 3 club functions, one of which is a business meeting. After completion of these requirements, membership acceptance is voted on at our monthly business meeting.
