Club Rides 2024
March 29 - April 6
Riders: Antoine
Destination: Arizona
Comments: I left on Good Friday March 29 and rode to Shreveport for the night. I traveled on March 30 to meet my stepson and his girlfriend in Kingsman, Kansas. We left on March 31 and traveled to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where we stayed there for a couple of days. On April 2 we left with ice on our seats at 8:00 am. We then traveled from New Mexico to Phoenix, Arizona ,traveling on a highway that had winds between 30 to 40 miles per hour for Bike Week. On April 3 we attended the bike rally in Scottsdale, Arizona. On April 4 we headed to Sedona, Arizona. After spending one more night we headed home and we both made it home on Saturday April 6.
Starting miles 584.5 Ending miles 4092. Total miles ridden 3,507.5 traveled 500 to 700 miles a day.
April 17
Riders: Antoine, Tommy, Tim, Brandon and daughter, Madelyn, and Matt
Destination: La Mex - Plattenville
Comments: Members rode to LA Mex in Plattenville for supper. The food was delicious and the conversations excellent.
April 20
Riders: Tim, Keith, and Tommy
Destination: Bar-B-Que Station - Independence
Comments: Led by Tommy, members rode the usual scenic route to Barbeque Station in Independence. The weather was perfect for riding. The food was great as usual. After resting for a bit, riders headed towards home by a different scenic route with Tim crossing the Sunshine Bridge and Tommy & Keith riding the west bank river road through Vacherie.
April 28
Riders: Tommy, Jo Ann, Skylynn, Sunnie, Tammy, Aiden, and Rory
Destination: Dixie Cafe at Houmas House - Darrow
Comments: Tommy and Aiden led the rest of the of the gang following in the SUV to the Dixie Cafe for a great meal.
