Riders: Keith, Brandon, and Antoine

Destination: Gilligil's Island - Slidell

Comments: This past Saturday, Brandon, Antoine, and Keith met up in Thibodaux to head to a place recommended by former Bayou Biker member, Tyler. When the Road Captain informed us at the last minute that he didn't want to captain the road, Brandon led the group down Hwy 90, through New Orleans, and onto the Hwy 11 bridge en route to Gilligil's Island. The dimly lit restaurant had an island, beachy feel and everyone enjoyed their sandwiches (Volcano Chicken, Reuben, and Shrimp Poboy). With the heat increasing, Brandon decided to take the Interstate back home. The group was separated somewhere around the 610 split, but made it home via Hwy 90.
